Cirrus has a long history in developing algorithms and real time software that processes sensor derived data to extract underlying information to aid the warfighter.

Cirrus’ expertise and capability in acoustics processing have been formally recognised as a priority industry capability (PIC) through the issuance of a PICIP grant. In the electronic warfare arena, Cirrus R&D has developed a world-leading technique for electronic counter-measures, over which Cirrus holds a US patent.

These capabilities are based on in-depth understanding of the key mathematical techniques and algorithms for statistical parameter estimation, and the techniques for robust software implementation of algorithms for real time execution.
