Defence Industry Minister Price Announces
Award of Innovation Hub Contract to Cirrus

The Hon Melissa Price MP, Minister for Defence Industry has today announced that Cirrus Real Time Processing Systems ("Cirrus") has been awarded a Defence Innovation Hub contract for the development of Electronic Warfare (EW) technology.
Under the contract Cirrus will adapt its Sensor Association and Fusion Engine (SAFE) technology to form a common operating picture (COP) from information drawn from a grid of Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM) sensors that will be developed under this contract.
Cirrus' Managing Director, Mr Peter Freed stated "Cirrus is very pleased to have been selected by Defence for this Innovation Hub contract, which enables the further development of Cirrus' SAFE fusion suite, the associated machine learning and AI technology, and the development of low cost ESM sensors."
