Cirrus Secures Trio of Contracts

Cirrus’ Managing Director, Mr. Peter Freed has today announced that the company has secured three new Defence contracts:
- with the RAAF for the development of light weight, deployable and interoperable Electronic Warfare (EW) sensors for the localisation of RF transmitters.
- with the RAN for the extension for of Cirrus’ Generic COMCEN Simulator (GCS) to additionally simulate the behaviour of the Maritime Tactical Wide Area Network (MTWAN) functionality that operates in concert with a ship’s COMCEN.
- with the RAN (following the Commonwealth’s exercise of an option) for the expansion of engineering services provided for additional Tactical Electronic Warfare (TACEW) equipment recently delivered by Cirrus to the RAN (HMAS Watson) under a previously announced contract.
Mr. Freed stated that “Cirrus is very pleased to commence 2020 with these new work engagements with Defence.
