Cirrus Secures Extension to ACOTS
In Service Support Contract

Cirrus Managing Director Mr. Peter Freed has announced the extension of the in-service support contract for the Air Combat Officer Training System (ACOTS) for an additional two years.

The ACOTS suite has been in operational service at RAAF 1 Flying Training School (1FTS) at RAAF East Sale to provide simulation training for RAAF ACO’s and RAN Aviation Warfare Officers since 2011, and the latest version of ACOTS is due for operational release later this year.

Mr Freed stated that "Cirrus has been providing a range of engineering services in support of the ACOTS suite for 5 years, and in this time the system has proven itself to be a reliable performer for 1FTS. We are very pleased to continue our relationship with 1FTS for an additional 2 years under this extension.”
